Q: How do I uninstall it?

Open Windows Settings → Apps, find Cursor Style and choose Uninstall. Your previous cursors come back automatically.

Your pick replaces the Windows arrow and the link hand, so it follows you all over the desktop - not only inside Chrome.

How it works

Pick a cursor you like on cursor.style.
Click the Apply in Windows button on its card - the one with the Windows logo.
The app opens with a preview. Confirm, and your new pointer is live straight away.

Open the app and choose Return my previous scheme to get back exactly what you had before, or Restore Windows default cursors for the standard Windows look.

Good to know

Only the normal arrow and the link hand change. The text beam, busy and resize pointers keep their current look.
Games and some apps draw their own cursor - there you keep seeing theirs.
The sign-in screen and administrator (UAC) prompts always use the Windows defaults.
In Remote Desktop sessions the pointer may look different or fall back to the default.
Changing the Windows theme or the pointer size in Settings can replace your cursor. The app notices this the next time it starts and offers to apply it again.

Privacy

No account and no tracking in the app. It only downloads cursor files from cursor.style, keeps its settings on your PC and changes your own mouse pointer settings - nothing else.

Questions

What if the Apply in Windows button does nothing?

Most likely the app is not installed yet - download it above, then click the button again. If it is installed, your browser first asks something like Open Cursor Style? - choose Open. Ticking "Always allow" saves you that question next time.

Why don't I see the Apply in Windows button?

It only appears in desktop browsers on Windows. On a Mac, a Chromebook or a phone, use the Cursor Style browser extension instead.

Is it free?

Yes. The app and every cursor on cursor.style are free, and you don't need an account.

Is it safe for my PC?

The app needs no administrator rights and changes only your own mouse pointer settings. Before every change it saves what you had, so you can always go back - uninstalling restores it too.

How do I uninstall it?

Do I still need the Chrome extension?

They are independent: the extension changes the cursor inside the browser, the app changes the Windows pointer everywhere else. Use either one, or both.
